Geluidsgolven worden opgangen door de lange katoenvezels en omgezet in rust — het resultaat is een merkbaar stillere ruimte. De absorptiewaarde is AW 0,65 — 65% van het geluid wordt opgenomen. Door de luchtspouw van 2 cm werkt het paneel ook aan de achterzijde.
